Our Garden rooms have multiple uses such as a home office, home cinema, Artists studio, Craft Room, Kids Play room, Yoga studio, they can even be used as an occasional bedroom
Can you build a Garden Room to my own design?
Yes! All Our Garden Rooms are unique, unless of course you want a design that we have previously built for a client. You can discuss your ideas and let us know what you want to use your garden room for, maybe a garden office or home gym and we will transform your ideas into a 3d sketch. We will then use the plans to build from.
Will I need planning permission for my Garden Room?
Most garden room’s can be constructed without the need for planning permission and are classed as Permitted Development. However, in some situations, such as if your property is Listed then planning permission is required from your local authority.
What is the Permitted Development allowed for a Garden Room?
If your property allows permitted development (the majority do allow for this) then the garden room must be single storey with a maximum eaves height of 2.5 metres and maximum overall height of 4 metres with a pitched roof, or alternatively 3 metres in other cases. If the garden structure is within 2 metres of the property boundary the whole building should not exceed 2.5 metres in height. The overall footprint of the building should not exceed 30m2.
Will I need to prepare the base for my Garden Room?
No, we will prepare the base and the cost of this is included with the price we give you.
How long will it take to construct my Garden Room?
Your new Garden Room will take between 2-3 weeks to construct (depending on size), this includes the construction of the base and full electrical installation. This may seem longer than other companies but to keep costs down we construct all our garden rooms onsite.
